Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

Travel Advice and Vaccination

Our nurses are fully trained and have available the latest information on travel vaccinations. We ask that you complete our Travel Assessment Form, available from reception or available to download below.

Please allow 5 working days for the nurse to verify what vaccinations are required, then telephone reception to make the necessary appointments.

Please try to organise your travel vaccinations at least 8 weeks before you are due to travel. Some vaccinations are available on the NHS, others you will have to pay for.

The nearest Yellow Fever Centre is at The Castle Surgery who can offer you this vaccination and the appropriate certificate, for which there is a fee.

Travel Health Questionnaire

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please collect our travel vaccinations form from reception and then drop it back in to the surgery. Our travel nurse can then assess your needs before your appointment to have the vaccinations.
